It was that time of the year again that Narcisa had to hunt down several caves to note if there was any kind of potential within them to make profit. After a bit of bribing, an Elder Dragon Researcher let her know of areas that Elder Dragon activity was documented more frequently. That area happened to be the Brimstone River. She dressed up in her armor that had fire resistance and cooling agents within it and saddled up Lila, her Buradogora who was a species that lived in the volcanic region naturally so she was naturally resistant to the heat. “Come Lila, let’s see if we can find anything worthwhile out there.” She patted the muzzle of the snake wyvern which hissed pleasantly in agreement. She chose to take Lila over her other monsters for several reasons, but the main reason was that she was headed towards the Brimstone River. Jace took a bite out of a particularly crunchy apple that he just bought from the local farmer’s market. He enjoyed the juice pouring into his mouth and the sweet crispy texture of the apple’s flesh. The weather was perfect today, bright, sunny, a light breeze to wash away the warmth for just a brief moment. Sunny basked on top of her Odogaron, in the afternoon sun. Narcisa walked along the busy streets of the city in the desert. She just closed down shop as the sun passed its highest point. Thankfully for her, she never needed to keep her shop open for long hours. Usually one purchase of anything in her wares was enough to meet the zenny requirements she set for the day. As she made her way through the busy streets her mind wandered on where she should go. Should she spend an hour or two at the spa? Should she take a walk around the markets after a delicious lunch? Maybe she should just keep walking towards the outskirts of town; she’s heard that the desert around the city is undergoing a super bloom and it would be nice to view the colorful flowers blooming in the desert lands. She decided to go for the latter and made her way towards the outskirts of the city. Thankfully, no one stopped her along the way to distract her.
